In accordance with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966, no animal can legally receive physiotherapy intervention without written veterinarian consent (unless the enquiry is for a maintenance/check-over assessment in an otherwise healthy dog).

If you require physiotherapy for your dog, Georgia Brown Physiotherapy will make contact with your veterinarian to gain consent.

For human referrals, the client can self-refer and self-consent. Consent from doctor/GP is not required for human physiotherapy sessions.
